Whistler Harmony Run

So we made it.... the Citizensofshred 1st birthday was on Sunday and this is our 200th post. To celebrate on Sunday I did the hike solo, to Harmony for the third day of the mountain being open for the 2010/11 season. Its also the first time I used my new go pro camera. Its no Hasliberg line but i got some pretty fun turns in. Next time ill face the camera down more to get more of the board. Hope you enjoy, and happy birthday to us. I hope the next year is as fun as the last. Its off to a good start.

The Perfect Amount of Lazy.

The 4 Skateboard Company will release it's first full length video, The Perfect Amount of Lazy, in December featuring full parts from Alex Campbell, Harry Clark, Mike Martin, Morgan Campbell and Yuta Tanaka. There will be a Melbourne and Perth premiere in mid December and the video will be available shortly after, so stay tuned for dates. Ive always really enjoyed Powder and Rails but felt it was missing something... I cant pin point what it is but i think this time they got it right. This is amazing... Tune in and learn some snowboard history.

Grand Theft Thursdays

We love snowboarding and skating. Pretty sure that is blindingly obvious to anyone who knows us or has been following this blog for even a day. But there are other things in this universe that inspire as just as much as the art of riding sideways and the characters who come from these two radical sometimes intertwined worlds.

This blog has its first birthday on Sunday and to celebrate we are looking to shake it up a little.

Introducing - Grand Theft Thursdays, a new segment for the page where we will compile a list of the best images, videos and random junk that we have come across in the week. No real plan as to what will end up in each weekly post but you can be sure there will be a heavy music, art and culture influence.

Winter is here... Just about

The temperature is cold, the snow is falling, I just picked up my season pass and the mountain opens on Friday. The winter is finally here. Stay tuned.

A new season of powder and rails in about to fire up, on the 18th of November to be precise. We are big fans of VBS here at CoS so i doubt this will disapoint.

The Kidnap crew hail from Switzerland, not sure exactly where, but we met them when they set up camp and spent the last winter shredding in and around Grindelwald.
