Season Over

Well its officially time to hang up the boots.... 2009/2010 winter season is finally over, after the last day of riding in Blackcombs', Nintendo park on May 24th.

My official shred count stands at 90 days. It’s been one hell of a ride, from the indoor slope of Milton Keynes just outside London to the pristine parks of Mayrhofen, Austria. From champagne powder of Meiringen/Hasliberg in the Swiss alps to the tree runs in Whistler/Blackcomb, Canada and lets not forget the countless laps of what I call my home park, the amazing White-Elements, First. Thanks to everyone that shared it with me over the last five Months. I will never forget the times I've had, and the people I've met.

Now let the summer begin. With a fresh skate set up, a new pad 3 minutes from the park and a possibility of some summer snow shred, its looking like its going to be a great season. I’m hoping to get a new camera in the next month to keep everyone up to date of the happenings in the BC area.

I’ve attached my exact shred count in a semi-order for anybody that is interested. I made this for a few reason.

1#To know the amount of days I rode throughout the season.

2#To know all the places I rode

3#To find out if whether buying the Berner Oberland pass is worth the extra 300 francs

Milton Keynes, SNO!zone: 1

Schilthorn: 2

Castle: 1

Manlichen: 4

Meiringen/Hasliberg: 7

White Lynx Jib Park: 2

Kitzbuhel, Area 43 DC Park: 1

Mayrhofen, Vans Penken Park: 1

Flachauwinkl, Absolute Park/Stash: 1

Worgel Jib Gardens: 2

Gstaad: 4

First/White Elements Snow Park: 42

Whistler/Blackcomb: 22

So as for the pass… I rode 11 days on it so it was worth the extra money. The line I did through the rabbit hole chute alone I would of paid 300 franc for. But if we don’t have a car next year, I would probably think twice before forking out the extra and just pay for day passes on the days when I know it going to be gangbusters.
