So Steemy flew over from Norway for a month to celebrate his birthday and catch up with us suckers in Perth. Along with him a couple of our Austrian friends in Claus and Kevin were in town, add Rick from Melbourne and Tim from SA and we knew it was gonna be a blurry couple of days.
Picked up the boys from the airport on Friday arvo with the temperature sitting at a nice 23degrees Celsius. Most of the boys had been chasing snow for the last few weeks or hanging in rain ridden Melbourne town so we thought we would make the most of the conditions and hit up the infamous Fremantle Woolstores ledges. This skate spot is a massive icon in the WA skate scene having featured in sections all over the world, look out for the spot next time you are watching the Lakai vid.

rick 5050Rick being the keenest skater of all the boys was stoked to see the spot and it was good to get it out of the way straight from the airport cause we all had a feeling that the alcohol onslaught would prevent us from going for another roll. Hopefully next time he visits my knee will be better and we can go for a proper session.

From there we cruised down to Little Creatures Brewery for the first of the frothies and then onto a park bench up my way so the boys could see the sunset over the water. super romantic!

Saturday night was a cracker with a solid crew at the party then we topped off the weekend with a nice little Sunday booze up before the boys were out on Monday.Cheers for all the good times, epic to catch up with a bunch of crew that we only normally see in the northern hemi winter when the snow is falling.
