Margies.
Went down to the South West of WA in search of some waves today. We were greeted by clean 4 to 5 foot waves, offshore winds and plenty of pipes for everyone. We surfed the overhead drainers for four hours and managed to bump into some old mates in the water. It was the first time Ive headed down there since the bush fires which ripped through the region a month ago. Sad to see the state of the landscape and the unfortunate peoples homes that were destroyed.

Looking forward to the mission back up the beach

Back to what we thought we knew

After the disastrous day we had on Saturday we decided to stick to what we know on the Sunday and head out to our favorite mountain. We got there and the snow was as good as it gets as expected. We spent the day riding the lower runs that we dont normally get to see as much of.
After a few amazing runs doing lines we knew we decided to explore around a bit. The results were 2 completely new zones we never knew existed including the discovery of what I consider to be the best tree runs in Schweiz and probably the best tree runs Ive ever rode. Pics attached.

Its good to be back

The day that got away
On Saturday the 17th it was opening day for the Jungfrau Region. We woke up Saturday morning to a massive snow fall but no idea what to do as the light was terrible.
I called Oska and after alot of thought and a phone call that told us lifts were opening at 11 we decided to head out to Saanen once again to try have some more fun in those trees.
The weather Inti wasnt great but it wasnt to bad either. So we decided the drive shouldnt be too bad and headed off. As we turned the corner at Speiz the roads got worse and by the time we had passed Zweisimmen we were in one of the biggest blizzards ive ever seen and the roads were terrible. We might as well been driving on a piste.
We were taking it very slow and only managed to have one close call that resulted in a lost hub cap. To top it off once we finally arrived in Saanen we were quickly informed that the lifts were closed and would not be opening as scheduled due to high winds, avy danger and the pisten bullys being frozen. We then proceeded to slowly make our way back to Inti, not befor getting stuck in the carpark on a snow wall for 45min. We didnt strap in that day. Oh well you live and learn. Theres always tomorrow.

Saanenmöser with Marky Mark
Me and Marky Mark headed out to Saanenmöser on Wednesday with hopes of scoring our first real pow turns of the season. Upon arrive at the train station and realizing how hot it was and how high it had rained we thought all hope was lost and almost turned around there.
We decided we might as well go up for a look and though it wasnt the blower pow we had been hoping for there was still tons of fun to be had. We climbed into 2 small shutes and then spent the rest of the day riding one of Saanens many awesome tree runs. Thanks to marky for the great day. Hope to ride alot more pow with you this season.

Axalp Jibbing.

Polluted lake
On Sunday I got word of Kaspar to pack the car with food, beers and shovels and head up to Axalp to try have some fun. Id never been up there and wasn't expecting much but to my surprise it was sunny and heaps of snow.
Unfortunately Oska and myself arrived a little late and had missed the initial build (sorry everyone).
By the time we got there, there was and amazing 2 rail line waiting to be slaughtered.
Everyone was riding amazing. Its crazy when you havent seen these guys ride for 5 months. Youve been working and they have just been riding every day. The progression is massive. Towards the end of the session Kaspar OT and myself decided to try build a bonk.
The whole day turned out amazing. Big thanks to the Hoesli bros for supplying the idea and the rails and to ever one else involved. It was such a good day. Pics attached.

We are Back
Well its been a while between posts.
Unfortunately we lost our dot com address and due to this we lost a lot of motivation posting videos on the site and have just been posting them on our facebook page instead. So from now on all of the stuff made by us will be put on this site and the videos we like will just be posted on facebook.
It's been a late start to the winter this year but we haven't let that jade us and we are hoping for a powder filled season.
The heavens opened up on the 6th of December here in Switzerland and it has hardly stopped dumping since. We were chomping at the bit to get up in the Jungfrau region for opening day on the 10th but the catdrivers didn't have enough time to push the snow around. Fingers crossed the reports are correct and first lifts will be ridden in the region this coming Saturday.
As luck would have it we managed to get a shred in at the weekend anyway after hearing Adelboden was gonna open up as planned. First thing Saturday morning me and OT packed the car, we weren't expecting much but knew it would be fun just sliding on our boards for the first time(for me) in 5 months.
Upon reaching the top of the gondi we were greeted with snow that was better then we expected. You definitely needed to take it easy but if you found the right spot there was great turns to be had. The following are pictures of the day. Be sure to check back reguarly as we will be posting as much as possible again now its winter.
Bring it on!
